The changes revealed in the official PTR 3.2.0 are some of the most exciting updates so far, offering a clear look at the balancing direction for Diablo 4 Season 15.
With the overhaul of Mythic system and the addition of new seasonal items, every build is expected to be stronger than it was in Season 14. Based on PTR 3.2.0 patch notes, IGGM.com has put together a list of the strongest builds for each class.
Warlock

Lunatic Warlock
Warlock received several important quality-of-life improvements. Skills such as Sigil of Chaos and Dark Prison can now be cast while moving, making the class much more fluid and mobile. This is especially valuable for Lunatic Warlock.
Diablo 4 Season 15 Soul Splinters mechanic also deserves special attention because it provides a significant power boost to every class, particularly DoT builds. Although the mechanic benefits all classes, Warlock is undoubtedly one of its biggest winners.
Blazing Scream Warlock is the build attracting the most attention. After its redesign, Elegy Sword transforms Blazing Scream into an Archfiend Skill, and when combined with Infernal Homunculus, the resulting damage becomes exceptionally high.
Apocalypse Warlock is equally impressive. Following its rework, Overwhelming Aspect now scales with accumulated Overpower stacks, providing massive bonus damage. At the same time, Warlock’s class mechanic has also received substantial improvements.
Rogue

Poison Twisting Blades Rogue
Rogue was already capable of clearing The Pit Tier 150 in Season 14, making it one of the strongest classes in the game. Fortunately, nearly every change in this patch is a buff, with very few direct nerfs.
The only major downside is the reduction to Freeze mechanic. Specifically, Freeze effect from Azurewrath has been weakened, which affects builds such as Rain of Arrows that rely on freezing enemies. Since many Rogue builds make use of Freeze, this adjustment has broad consequences.
However, while Freeze builds lose some power, Poison builds are poised to shine. Splinter of Hellfire delivers an incredible effect by doubling damage while removing 100% Critical Strike Chance. For Poison Imbuement DoT builds, Critical Strike is not a core stat, making this essentially a free twofold damage increase.
Barbarian

Charge Barbarian
Barbarian received numerous nerfs, but the class is far from falling behind. After its redesign, Ring of Red Furor has become extremely powerful. The ring grants additional damage based on Fury while guaranteeing Critical Strikes.
When paired with Splinter of Hellfire, which removes all Critical Strike Chance in exchange for doubling damage, Barbarian can still maintain excellent damage output.
At the same time, Aspect of the Expectant has been significantly buffed, allowing up to 80% multiplicative bonus damage through stacking. In addition, several new Diablo 4 items, which are from previous game, also provide valuable benefits for Barbarian.
Both Whirlwind Barbarian and Charge Barbarian, which were among the strongest builds in Diablo 4 Season 14, remain highly effective. Although the class’s primary attribute scaling has been reduced, the bonuses introduced in Season 15 more than compensate for those losses. As a result, most Barbarian builds are expected to become even stronger.
Sorcerer

Although Firewall Sorcerer received several nerfs, Sorcerer as a whole gained numerous buffs. Several Soul Splinters synergize exceptionally well with the class, while Blood-Mad Idol Charm also becomes stronger because it can now be upgraded to Mythic quality.

Although Counterattack of the Swarm Variant has been reduced by roughly 50%, the build previously cleared The Pit Tier 150 in around seven minutes. Even after the nerf, combining it with the twofold damage bonus from Splinter of Hellfire keeps its overall performance extremely competitive.
The developers made relatively few adjustments to Spiritborn overall, but Thunderspike received a modest buff. Since the build already performed well before these changes, it now has even greater potential.
Necromancer

Golem Necromancer
Necromancer received substantial buffs across multiple archetypes, including Blood Wave and Minion builds, which are expected to remain among its strongest options. Overall, however, the class meta is likely to look very similar to Season 14, with no dramatic shifts in its top-performing builds.
Paladin

Judgement Paladin
Judgement and several other Paladin skills have received numerous buffs. However, the class’s biggest challenge still comes from its Diablo 4 gear sets. Some sets rely heavily on Crowd Control effects, while others require an extended ramp-up period before reaching full effectiveness.
The good news is that Judgement Paladin may once again become a competitive choice. After being repeatedly nerfed since Season 12, the build has finally received meaningful improvements, bringing fresh potential back to the class.
Druid

Earth Spike Druid
Unsurprisingly, Druid is the biggest loser of this Diablo 4 PTR update. Storm Shepherd’s Call Set previously allowed nearly unlimited scaling, but it is now capped at either 60% or 80% Damage Reduction.
In addition, Earth-based builds have been weakened because of adjustments to the interaction between Werebear and Resolve. Rush of the Red Wolf Moon Set also prevents Druid from maintaining continuous dashing as before. During the early PTR period, Druid may become one of the weakest classes in the game.
